Why don't you fix your credit instead of paying a credit repair company to scam you?
Really, credit repair is not that hard. Debt consolidation companies want you to pay them and then they will get creditors to accept a settlement for a fraction of your debt. You can do that yourself for free. Call the creditor you owe money immediately if you are struggling to make payments. Offer to make alternative payment arrangements. Ask them to lower your interest. The first step in credit repair is to work with your creditors before they report negative information to the credit bureau. If you have already been turned over to a collection agency and are thinking about paying a debt consolidation company, know that you can do anything they can do. You can call the collection company and offer them less than half of the amount owed to settle your debt. They will usually negotiate. This is not the best option for everyone. There are downsides to this tactic. Study over this site and it's links to discover the best method for you.
